Can you feel it? Buffalo Bills training camp is about to begin, and with that comes a return to on-field football. If it feels to you as though this has been a painfully long offseason, you’re not alone. With change at the top of the Bills’ coaching structure, we’ve been left trying to fill a void in meaningfully discussing what the team will do on the field under the direction of first time head coach Joe Brady and first time NFL defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard.
This summer, those two men are front and center as fans and those who cover the Bills try and catch a glimpse of the team’s new look. Well, that chance comes now by way of seven morning session at St. John Fisher University.
It’s a pared-down schedule between July 29 and August 7 at Fisher, at which point they’ll head back to One Bills Drive to finish training camp in front of season ticket holders during the Return of the Blue & Red practice. Getting into that event has proven nearly impossible because of the new stadium (prompting a second, equally difficult, ticketed event open to the general public on August 18), but tickets for training camp are at a premium unlike any season before simply because of the shorter schedule.
So this week we’re asking Rumblers a simple question…
