The Seattle Seahawks fielded one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL last season en route to winning Super Bowl 60. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the league in receiving yards and was named Offensive Player of the Year. Despite so many offseason changes on offense, the Seahawks are candidates to take home a few more awards on that side of the ball in 2026.
Brian Fleury is the new offensive coordinator, replacing Klint Kubiak after the latter took the Las Vegas Raiders‘ head coaching job. Super Bowl 60 MVP Kenneth Walker III is also gone after signing with the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency. The Seahawks drafted Jadarian Price at No. 32 overall in the 2026 NFL draft to replace him.
It’s incredibly difficult to win Offensive Player of the Year two seasons in a row, but Smith-Njigba feels like a candidate. He’ll be Sam Darnold’s go-to receiver again in 2026. What could limit JSN is the emergence of Rashid Shaheed, who is expected to command a larger role on offense.
If Price wins the Seahawks’ lead back gig, he’s a realistic candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year honors. Opportunity is half the battle in OROY conversations. If Price truly replaces Walker, then he’ll be a strong candidate to take home rookie hardware.
