Jim Long and Brayden Hall didn’t play their A-game this afternoon, but Long will be pleased to get over the line, with a comfortable 6-1 win.
The U.S. Darts Masters first round took place last night, but the attention this afternoon is all on the North American qualifiers, who will battle for the 2026 North American Darts Championship title.
Matt Campbell, the 2025 North American Darts Championship title winner, isn’t competing this year, so we will see a different player take home the title today.
Jim Long was the sole North American qualifier at the U.S. Darts Masters who upset a PDC qualifier, so he’ll look to carry that momentum into this afternoon.
The winner of today’s event will qualify for the 2027 PDC WC and will also earn a spot in the Grand Slam of Darts later this year.
