MANHATTAN — There is a small chance that former Kansas State basketball guard Nate Johnson hears his name during the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft on Wednesday, June 24, but he is more likely headed toward a Summer League deal.
Johnson, who played one season for the Wildcats under Jerome Tang, has taken part in several pre-draft workouts ahead of this week’s draft. The first round took place on June 23, with the second round set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. on ABC and ESPN.
Most mock drafts don’t include Johnson, nor do big boards by major outlets list Johnson as a prospect to keep an eye on. The Wildcats haven’t had anyone selected since the Oklahoma City Thunder selected Keyontae Johnson in the second round of the 2023 draft.
Here’s a quick look at Nate Johnson’s NBA Draft outlook.
