According to Begoña Villarrubia of Mundo Deportivo that football megastar Alexia Putellas will make an announcement in regards to her club football future later this week. The reporter has also shared the former FC Barcelona player midfielder has drawn interest from WSL, NWSL, and Liga MX Femenil.
On June 8, it was reported by The Guardian that Alexia Putellas had agreed to personal terms with London City Lionesses.
Although, London City remains the favorite, Villarrubia reports it’s not quite a done deal, even though the club remain the favorites.
Could the NWSL be an option? Gotham FC and Boston Legacy were also listed as potential destinations.
