You may not see Jalen Brunson kick a basketball 74 yards, but Pat McAfee is still prepared to give fans the story of the NBA Finals. The former Colts punter will be on ESPN for Game 3 of the NBA Finals for an alternate broadcast.
After his NFL career, McAfee transitioned into media, joining Barstool Sports and then leaving to become an ESPN analyst and host of his own show. Along the way, he also made a stop in the WWE as a commentator.
Since McAfee established his own daily show through ESPN and YouTube, it has allowed him to be on-site for some major sports moments, especially in the football realm. This includes the College Football Playoff and NFL Draft. While he is newer to the NBA world, a team of guests including two former NBA players are sure to help.

What is Pat McAfee’s NBA Finals show?
McAfee’s show will serve as an alternate broadcast to ABC’s NBA Finals broadcast. This alternate show will be on ESPN, who was partnered with ABC.
Pat McAfee will be joined by his usual crew as well as Kendrick Perkins, an ESPN analyst and 14-year NBA veteran for the Celtics, Thunder, Cavaliers and Pelicans.
In this show, McAfee uses his traditional style, a casual, group-focused conversation, discussing the game. The former NFL Punter has done similar shows in the past for the NFL Draft.

On traditional cable, ESPN will feature Pat McAfee’s alternate broadcast. The show can also be found on the ESPN App, ESPN+ and Disney+.
The show will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on June 8.
