Alleged informer and businessman Tumelo Nku is expected to return to the Madlanga Commission this morning.
Nku’s testimony was cut short on Monday after he requested an opportunity to supplement his statement.
He is expected to answer questions relating to his alleged role in the Aeroton drug consignment, which resulted in cocaine worth approximately R300 million being intercepted by police in the south of Johannesburg.
Questions have been raised about his alleged involvement in the Aeroton drug consignment.
While various witnesses and Nku have testified that he is an informer, Witness J, who testified before the Commission in a closed session, has disputed those claims.
According to Witness J, phone records and Threema messages extracted from Nku’s cellphone indicate that he is allegedly involved in drug trafficking.
