North West businessman Brown Mogotsi’s second attempt to secure bail has been denied at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

This is in relation to his alleged staging of an assassination attempt on his life.

Mogotsi launched a fresh bail bid based on new facts following his initial bail denial on the 4th of this month due to unverifiable residential addresses.

In denying him bail, the court has upheld its first judgment.

He is currently facing charges of defeating the ends of justice, perjury, and unlawful possession of a firearm, related to an alleged staged assassination attempt in Vosloorus in November last year.
