Mark Pope and the Kentucky coaching staff are in North Augusta this week as part of the annual Nike Peach Jam, featuring many of the top high school prospects in the country.
Yesterday saw Kentucky commit Ryan Hampton put together a solid showing, leading his team (Nightrydas) to a big win over PSA in a matchup that featured multiple top 20 prospects. Hampton finished with a team-high 21 points including 4 made threes.
One of Kentucky’s top targets in the class, Beckham Black, put on an absolute show yesterday, scoring 37 points on a 70 percent shooting clip. Black, a 6’3 guard from Orlando, Florida, is arguably the top prospect in the 2027 class.
Several Kentucky targets are participating in the Peach Jam, so Mark Pope and the Kentucky coaches will surely be busy in North Augusta the next couple days making moves on the recruiting trail.
