Sept 9 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday told reporters the inflatable slide on the Qatar-gifted Air Force One was being checked and it would take about 15 minutes.
Trump added that he was sure that it was safe to fly on the jet and shortly afterwards boarded the aircraft.
Trump started flying aboard the jumbo jet on July 1 after accepting the plane as a gift last year. There was an accelerated effort to renovate the Boeing 747 before Trump started using it.
