The Phoenix Suns might have been eliminated early in the 2026 NBA Playoffs, but some of their players felt it throughout the postseason. One of them was Dillon Brooks, who was present at Crypto.com Arena during the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Since Brooks is known to be one of the peskiest players in the league who loves annoying his matchups, he went there to have some fun with his matchups, including LeBron James. Brooks even went viral with a clip of him laughing at LeBron, becoming a meme for a lot of people on social media.

After a successful season with the Suns, Brooks was elated. They might have lost early in the Playoffs, but Brooks is known to create chaos even when he is not playing. He loves talking trash and having fun with his opponents, and it felt like he had it out for LeBron in particular.
While Brooks is known to beef with the Golden State Warriors, he does have a special spot for LeBron as well, especially with their previous matchup back in the 2023 NBA Playoffs. He even called LeBron old back then, but he also admitted that he pokes the bear all the time.

The meme of him laughing became one of the most famous clips during the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Unfortunately for LeBron, both he and Dillon suffered the same fate, as they were swept aside by the Thunder. As a true hater, Brooks made sure to sit at courtside to watch at least one of the Lakers‘ losses.
“What’s funny is I got a ticket from Rich. He was talking to an LA fan. He was like, ‘I know you’re throwing shade at me. I know, I know.’ So I’m looking at him like ‘oh my god, he’s really worried about this fan right here? You’re 3-0 right now.’ I’m just cracking up,” Brooks admitted while on The Road Trippin’ Show.
Considering Brooks is always found in moments like these, there will always be plenty of memes about him that will spread in the future. This particular one was funny because of the stakes with the Playoffs and that involves him being a hater of one of the greatest players of all time.
