Indiana Fever star guard Sophie Cunningham didn’t get chosen to participate in Friday’s 3-point contest at the 2026 WNBA All-Star weekend in Chicago, but she had a pretty good quip about it.
Responding to a post that highlighted how well she’s shot the basketball from beyond the arc this season, Cunningham replied “soooo what else is new with everyone?”
Cunningham’s Fever teammate, guard Caitlin Clark, was asked and opted not to participate in the skills challenge, but Cunningham would have been a great alternate to Clark to represent Indiana.
However, it wasn’t to be. Good on Cunningham for being able to joke about getting left out of the contest.
