The sweepstakes to land Gabriel Georges have been as high-profile as any in the class of 2027. He is ranked by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 10 player in his class and top prospect from Tennessee. Three schools remain in the running as finalists for the nation’s No. 2 running back recruit: Tennessee, Ohio State and Ole Miss.
He plays for Baylor School in Chattanooga, preparing for his senior season after racking up 1,749 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior.
Gabriel Georges will announce his decision on July 22 at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Chris Low of On3 reported that Tennessee has the largest NIL offer for David Gabriel Georges in the range of $2 million per year for three years. He also said that Ohio State’s offer is around $1 million annually.
According to Gabriel Georges’ uncle, Jean Agenor, NIL won’t be the only factor in the five-star’s decision.
“We understand there is an opportunity for him to get ahead in life because of NIL and the opportunities he’ll get, but that’s not the main thing,” Agenor told Low. “That’s never been the main thing. We played the long game to benefit him so he can basically maximize his earning potential but that was just a good business strategy. We want him to get that second NFL contract.”
