Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. was in attendance for Fanatics Fest NYC 2026. During his coverage, longtime Kansas City Chiefs rivals drew plenty of attention at the event with a thrilling moment.
In front of a large crowd of cheering fans, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski reunited at the Raising Cane’s Fan Zone at the Javits Center for the ultimate dunk tank showdown, a spirited competition. After first teasing the crowd by drilling the Raising Cane’s logo with a throw, Brady delivered a perfect spiral that sent Gronkowski plunging into a giant dunk tank filled with hundreds of Cane’s Sauce-colored balls.
Brady and Gronkowski have battled the Chiefs in many significant games over the years, including a memorable AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium and Super Bowl LV. Gronkowski previously spoke with Easton Jr. about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ victory over Kansas City.
“Everyone came together and had one goal, and that was to dominate the Chiefs,” said Gronkowski. “We sure did, [on the offensive] side of the ball, [and] the defensive side of the ball. [I don’t really] remember, like, [the] scheme totally. I can’t recall because it was a while ago, but I remember our game plan was superb.”
Fanatics Fest NYC 2026 was held over four days at the Javits Center in New York City, featuring a curated lineup of top talent from sports and pop culture. The festival included exclusive merchandise and product drops, immersive league, team, and brand activations, autograph sessions, live panels, the largest hobby show in New York City, and more.
