Sean Pedulla Leads Clippers to Overtime Summer League Win Over Timberwolves

Sean Pedulla proved he can thrive under pressure in the Los Angeles Clippers’ overtime victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.

The two-way guard scored nine of the team’s 13 points in overtime to lead the Clippers to a 128-120 win in the squad’s last Summer League game of the season. Pedulla scored a total of 24 points and led the team with 11 assists and six steals across the entire game.

Rookie Keaton Wagler, who the Clippers drafted with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, contributed a team-leading 26 points to the team’s total.

The Clippers’ 128-point total broke the single-game Summer League scoring record.

Pedulla Made His NBA Debut Last Season

Pedulla signed a two-way contract with the Clippers in February before making his NBA debut against the Timberwolves on March 11. The 23-year-old played in seven NBA games and spent the majority of the season in the G League.

Pedulla shined in the G League with the San Diego Clippers last season and was named the 2025-26 Kia NBA G League Rookie of the Year in April.

Before signing with the Clippers, Pedulla played his senior collegiate season at Ole Miss. He averaged 15.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 32.8 minutes while starting all 36 games he played for the Rebels during the 2024-25 season.

Pedulla ultimately went undrafted in 2025 but is showing he has the potential to be a star for the Clippers.
