Just in time for training camp, the Carolina Panthers have brought back one of the most versatile players on their roster over the last few years—offensive lineman Brady Christensen.
Christensen, an All-American left tackle from Brigham Young University, was a third-round pick by Carolina in the 2021 NFL Draft. Since then, he’s appeared in 59 games for the organization—putting in starts at all five positions on the trench.
Given the 29-year-old’s extreme versatility, his return should boost the depth of the unit.
Let’s take a look at what their depth chart along the offensive line may now look like with Christensen back in the fold . . .
Left tackle
- Rasheed Walker
- Monroe Freeling
- Stone Forsythe
- Isaia Glass
PUP: Ikem Ekwonu
Left guard
- Damien Lewis
- Chandler Zavala
- Saahdiq Charles
- Joshua Gray
Center
- Luke Fortner
- Sam Hecht
- Nick Samac
Right guard
- Robert Hunt
- Brady Christensen
- Ja’Tyre Carter
Right tackle
- Taylor Moton
- Albert Reese
We are putting Christensen at right guard for now, but he really functions as a backup at any spot. Most of his time with the Panthers has been at left guard, followed by left tackle. He played right guard exclusively (285 snaps) last season, though.
Christensen’s 2025 campaign was cut short by an Achilles tear in Week 8. He was reportedly cleared for contact earlier this month.
