On Friday morning, the Carolina Panthers announced the return of a fan favorite—as they re-signed offensive lineman Brady Christensen to a one-year deal. The 29-year-old hog molly remained on the open market into the summer, and now rejoins the roster after clearance from the Achilles tear he sustained in the middle of the 2025 campaign.
Christensen is the 15th player from the 2025 roster to sign back up with the Panthers this offseason. But there are a few of their own free agents still out there.
Here are the Panthers from last season who remain unsigned ahead of training camp:
- OL Jake Curhan
- LB Krys Barnes
- CB Damarri Mathis
Curhan appeared in the most games for Carolina (13) out of the remaining trio. The 6-foot-6, 313-pounder even made a start at right guard in the team’s Week 13 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
Barnes played in seven contests, with three starts. He notched 23 combined tackles and half a sack.
Mathis missed the entire season due to an ACL tear from early September.
