Notre Dame and Under Armour recently unveiled Notre Dame’s uniforms for this season’s Shamrock Series game against the Wisconsin Badgers. The unveiling was a bit spoiled by a leak of a jersey on a retailers website a few days before as it was exactly what the jersey ended up looking like.
So do we have another case of that here? This isn’t even just some retailer — this is from Under Armour’s own website.
Obviously the big change here is that the interlocking ND on the sleeves is replaced by the new football branded Notre Dame leprechaun.
Under Armour doesn’t really do the WalMart type of jersey that is just some random thing. If this is up on their site now, I fully believe it’s because this is what Notre Dame intends to wear in its Irish Wear Green game this season against the Stanford Cardinal on October 10.
I’m not sure if I have a real opinion here (good or bad) but I will say that I don’t have a problem with it on the green jersey. It reminds me of Oregon’s green uniforms with the due on the sleeves, and I always thought those were fire.
What do you think?
