After putting together an All-Pro-caliber campaign in 2026, Chris Olave is finally receiving the recognition he deserves as one of the NFL’s premier wide receivers. On this year’s NFL Top 100 list, Olave checked in at No. 64 after going unranked in each of his first three seasons. He’s joining Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan and their former teammate Demario Davis on this year’s NFL Top 100 Players list.
Coming off an injury-plagued 2025 campaign, Olave reminded everyone why he was viewed as one of the league’s brightest young receivers. He hauled in 100 receptions for 1,164 yards and nine touchdowns, finishing inside the top 10 in every major receiving category while proving he has what it takes to be mentioned among the league’s elite.
Olave’s ability to create separation is what truly sets him apart. His polished route running and effortless acceleration consistently leave defenders trailing, making him one of the toughest receivers in football to cover. That sentiment was voiced by those around him during the NFL Top 100 player interviews.

“His acceleration is incredible…” quarterback Tyler Shough said.
“He’s fast. Real fast,” added former teammate Demario Davis, along with defensive backs Jaylin Hawkins and Marcus Jones, all highlighting the explosiveness that makes Olave such a difficult matchup.
After years of flashing elite talent, Olave finally put together the healthy, complete season needed to earn league-wide respect. If his 2026 campaign is any indication, this may only be the beginning of what the Saints‘ star receiver is capable of.
