The Palestine Committee of the Jordanian Senate has condemned a visit by Israeli Knesset member Zvi Sukkot to the Dar al-Aytam Islamic Secondary School in the Old City of occupied East Jerusalem, calling for international accountability over the incident. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the committee said Sukkot entered the school, damaged school property, removed a sign displaying a map of historical Palestine and the Palestinian flag, and threw an Islamic education textbook onto the ground.
