On Thursday afternoon, the NHL will release the official schedule for the 2026-27 regular season. The new campaign will expand to 84 games with the addition of two more divisional battles for each team.

How to watch NHL schedule release 2026: TV channel, live stream

NHL Network will air a special edition of “NHL Tonight” covering the schedule release for the 2026-27 regular season.
Viewers can stream the schedule release show with fubo, which gives fans the ability to watch ESPN, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and 100-plus top channels of live TV and sports without cable. (Participating plans only. Taxes and fees may apply.)

- Time: 1 p.m. ET
The complete schedule for the 2026-27 NHL regular season will be revealed at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, July 16.
The league previously announced that the regular season will open with a tripleheader on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
