Part of what makes the Los Angeles Rams offense so dangerous is their receiving corps. Though they’re lacking a true WR3, they have two of the best wideouts in the game atop the depth chart.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler polled NFL executives, coaches and scouts from around the league to get their thoughts on the 10 best wide receivers in football, and both Puka Nacua and Davante Adams made the list.
Nacua was predictably ranked higher, making a huge jump from being an honorable mention last year to No. 4 this season. Still, no voter ranked him in the top two, and one had him ranked outside the top 10 altogether, somehow.
One NFL coordinator called him and Ja’Marr Chase, who ranked No. 1, the hardest receivers to tackle, also praising his ability to “play any spot.”
Last year, Nacua was on the fringe of the top 10. He wasn’t to be denied this year, appearing on all but one ballot.
About 85% of Nacua’s votes were within the top five after he led the NFL with 129 catches in 2025, the second most in Rams history behind Kupp (2021). Nacua’s eight career games with at least 150 receiving yards tie an NFL record with Justin Jefferson for the most by a player in his first three seasons.
At No. 10 was Davante Adams, who was an honorable mention last year but barely cracked the top 10 this season. He’s the only player at least 30 years old to make the top 10 but after leading the NFL in touchdown receptions last season with 14 in only 14 games, he’s still highly regarded around the league.
The only top-10 receiver in his 30s, Adams secured the last spot on the list despite producing his lowest receiving yardage total (789) since 2015. But look what he did for Matthew Stafford. The two had an easy connection on go balls and back-shoulder throws. Stafford threw 14 touchdowns to Adams on his way to the MVP award.
“His instincts and route running are still there even as his athletic traits have declined,” an NFC exec said. “He just knows how to get open.”
Matthew Stafford is the driver of the offense but he has two outstanding weapons on the outside to throw to.
