Iran and the United States continued exchanging military strikes overnight, with Tehran saying it targeted “US military sites” in several countries across the region in retaliation for American attacks on targets inside Iran. Iranian media, including state television, reported explosions in the cities of Bandar Abbas, Sirik and Jask, as well as on Qeshm Island, after the US military announced a new wave of strikes. The reports said 10 explosions were heard in Sirik and Bandar Abbas, while blasts were also reported in the provinces of Bushehr and Hormozgan.
