One of the most legendary centers in Pittsburgh Steelers history, the best No. 63 to ever don the Black and Gold is Dermontti Dawson.
Dawson, selected by the Steelers with the 44th overall pick in the second round of the 1988 NFL Draft, went on to play 13 seasons in Pittsburgh. He appeared in 184 games and made 181 starts, earning seven Pro Bowl honors and six First-Team All-Pro selections.
Selected to the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team, the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor and All-Time Team, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Dawson is the greatest No. 63 in team history.
