Prominent Limpopo musician, Lehlogonolo “Shebe Maburna” Chauke, is expected to return to the Polokwane Regional Court for a pre-trial hearing.
The case was postponed to this Friday to allow his lawyer, Michael Khumalo, time to appoint an advocate who will be dealing with the trial.
Shebe Maburna is facing 20 charges, including three of attempted murder, amongst others.
The musician has been in custody since his arrest in November last year.
His applications to be granted bail were denied twice in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.
The popular lekompo artist later approached the High Court in January this year, but he was also unsuccessful.– Reporting by Rendani Raliphaswa
