Jaylen Brown sounds fed up.
After the Boston Celtics traded the former Finals MVP to the Philadelphia 76ers, he’s getting pretty reflective on the business side of the NBA.
In fact, he pretty much bashed the concept of professional basketball in a video with popular stream IShowSpeed.
“It’s a crazy business bro,” Brown said as he spoke with the streamer during the France-Morocco game in Boston.
“Don’t ever become a basketball player,” Brown continued.
Why?
“There’s no loyalty,” Brown said. “I got packed up. They packed me up.”

He certainly isn’t happy. The vibes are made all the weirder by the fact that Brown simply got sent to Philly.
The return of George and draft assets might be fair, but it also can’t help Brown feel great that the only player going back directly for him was an aging guy who at best at this point is a poor man’s version of Brown.
Brown has at least some right to feel hard done by the way Boston treated him.
He did win MVP of the Finals over Jayson Tatum as the Celtics hoisted a banner a few seasons ago.
He also appears to have been shopped in multiple ways — first for Giannis Antetokounmpo, which is probably more flattering, and then for George.
This may turn out to be a case of “you don’t know what you’ve got ’till it’s gone.”
But that’s the nature of professional basketball. This latest mood from Brown suggests he understands it, even if he doesn’t like it.
The best Brown can do now is put on a show when the 76ers take on the Celtics.
