Aurélien Tchouaméni will miss the World Cup last-16 match with Paraguay later on Saturday due to injury, French media reports said.
The Real Madrid midfielder is suffering from a thigh problem, RMC and L’Equipe said.
The 26-year-old has played the full 90 minutes in three of France’s four matches so far at the World Cup. He was rested in the 3-0 group win against Iraq and replaced by Manu Koné.
The 25-year-old from Roma could now again start in midfield alongside Adrien Rabiot.
