Following the first off-week of the outdoor season, the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) continues with Round 5 of 2026 Pro Motocross, Round 22 of SMX, as the action gets underway Saturday, July 4, at RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan, at 1:00 p.m. ET on Peacock.tv.
Race Day Live will cover qualification, beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Peacock on Saturday.
Hunter Lawrence evened up the win total in the last outing at High Point Raceway, scoring his second overall to an uncharacteristically moderate Jett Lawrence, who finished a distant second in both races. The Lawrence brothers remain perfect with Jett scoring the other two wins.
Haiden Deegan reestablished his claim as the third-best rider by finishing third overall with results of fourth in Moto 1 and third in Moto 2. All three riders have experienced highs and lows at RedBud, so this could provide an opportunity for a new rider to emerge.
Seth Hammaker’s hard crash in the second moto at High Point has eliminated him from contention for the remainder of the season, while teammate Levi Kitchen also struggled. Two points current separate Kitchen, Jo Shimoda, and Julien Beaumer.
For those who live outside Michigan: All 31 rounds of the SuperMotocross season will be streamed live on Peacock.tv.
