Orlando Pirates Football Club has confirmed it has reached an agreement with Belgian football team, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, for the transfer of Bafana Bafana midfielder, Relebohile Mofokeng.
In a statement released by Pirates, the club says it has concluded negotiations over the transfer fee and structure of the deal.
However, the move remains subject to Mofokeng passing a medical examination and finalising personal terms with the Belgian Pro League side.
The two clubs say an agreement was reached in principle before the start of the FIFA World Cup, but the parties made the joint decision to hold off on any public announcement until after the tournament.
It allowed Mofokeng to focus fully on the World Cup with Bafana Bafana without the distraction of transfer talks.
