The Madlanga Commission is expected to deal with the matter of suspended Crime Intelligence Deputy Head Major General Feroz Khan on Wednesday morning.
Khan, who was due to testify before the Commission on Wednesday, remains in hospital after he was shot in Houghton, Johannesburg, on Sunday.
He is reported to be in a critical condition.
The Commission is also expected to receive an update from businessman and alleged informer Tumelo Nku on his supplementary statement.
Khan has been implicated in the Aeroton drug bust, in which police intercepted more than 700 kilograms of cocaine in the south of Johannesburg.
The Commission is also expected to hear from businessman and alleged informer Tumelo Nku, who has also been implicated in the Aeroton cocaine consignment.
On Monday, Nku’s testimony was cut short after he requested additional time to supplement his statement.
