The 76ers have been active to start the 2026 free agency period, signing Dean Wade to a deal on Tuesday night.
That wasn’t their only move, though, as they acquired another player on Wednesday morning, this time getting a player who was on the Knicks‘ recent title roster.

It’s reportedly a one-year deal, worth $3.4 million.
The 23-year-old completed his second year in the NBA last season after playing two seasons with the Knicks.
Hukporti played in 54 games with the Knicks this past season and averaged 7.6 minutes in 10 playoff games during the title campaign.
His numbers don’t stick out compared to other players, but an increased role in Philadelphia could help him develop and show what he’s capable of in a bigger role.
