Soccer fanatics around the country are holding thumbs for another Bafana Bafana victory in their historic FIFA World Cup campaign as the team heads onto the field in Los Angeles in the US to take on Canada.
People have gathered in various locations around the country to see if Bafana Bafana can make into the last 16.
South Africa will take on Canada at 9PM South African time
In Mokopane, Limpopo, fans are optimistic that South Africa will beat Canada. South Africa is participating in its fourth World Cup since 1998.
Mokopane supporters believe Bafana will continue to break records.
“All I can say is Bafana Bafana is gonna win 2-1 against Canada amd then from there they are gonna go to the top 16 then to top eight. From there they will end up in the top four, afterwhich they will bring back the World Cup.”
“I am also saying that Bafana Bafana will win against Canada. We are winning this one. That’s why I am encouraging people to watch the match and support Bafana.”
People in Cape Town say they’re hopeful that Bafana Bafana will advance to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup.
