A march in Windsor East was closely monitored by South African Police Service (SAPS) Linden, Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD), Johannesburg Public Order Police, Crime Intelligence, and community stakeholders on Sunday.
Around 70 marchers gathered, while nearby businesses closed as a precaution. Law enforcement agencies remain on the ground monitoring the situation.
Community members have welcomed the visible, integrated policing presence.
