The Los Angeles Angels fired general manager Perry Minasian on Friday, ending a tenure that saw the franchise continuously wallow below .500.
Former St. Louis Cardinals president of baseball operations John Mozeliak, previously serving as a consultant in Anaheim, will take over as interim general manager while the Angels search for Minasian’s permanent replacement.
