Zach Frazier has been making his mark in the NFL since his debut during the 2024 season – and his impact on the Pittsburgh Steelers is only continuing to grow.
Frazier will be entering his third season in the NFL this year, and he’s already shown he can hang with the best in the trenches – he was named to the All-Rookie Team following the 2024 season, and has made 32 appearances and 31 starts since debuting in the league. The only time he has missed has been due to injury.
And now, reports from offseason workouts indicate that Frazier is taking the next step in his career inside the Steelers locker room, as “it was clear that Zach Frazier is becoming one of the young leaders of the offense” for the franchise during the third week of OTAs.

The revelation came as the franchise saw most of its star veterans take the week off, with incoming head coach Mike McCarthy moving the mandatory mini-camp for the team’s younger talent in between the second and third week of voluntary OTAs.
And with most of the veteran presence away from the facilities, it became evident that he is inheriting more of a leadership role on the roster, as Alan Saunders with Steelers Now wrote that it was pretty clear that Frazier was the guy who was making things happen for the Steelers offense
“I think going into my third year, I feel comfortable,” Frazier said about inheriting more leadership. “I feel confident in my play style, so yeah, definitely.”
