President Cyril Ramaphosa will undertake a working visit to France from 10 to 12 July. The President will co-chair UNESCO’s High-Level Steering Committee on Sustainable Development Goal Four on education at the organisation’s headquarters in Paris, before attending the Transforming Education Summit Stocktake.
Ramaphosa will also travel to Longueval to attend the 110th commemoration of the Battle of Delville Wood, where South African soldiers who died during the First World War will be honoured.
The programme includes a wreath-laying ceremony and the unveiling of a UNESCO plaque.
