Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua and rookie quarterback Ty Simpson probably won’t play any games together this season, but they’re already building some chemistry off the field. The two of them were spotted at the U.S. Men’s National Team’s World Cup game against Turkey on Thursday night, which was played at SoFi Stadium.
Star actor Ashton Kutcher was alongside the two Rams players, chopping it up with Nacua, as well.
It was more or less a meaningful game for the USMNT, who had already clinched Group D, but they were playing to keep the momentum rolling after winning their first two games. Unfortunately, Turkey scored the game-winner in stoppage time to upset the U.S. and hand them their first loss.

Nacua and Matthew Stafford have an incredibly strong connection on the field, and Puka will try to build that with Simpson before he (potentially) takes over as the starting quarterback once No. 9 retires.
As two young building blocks, Simpson could join Nacua as one of the faces of the franchise in a few years after being drafted in the first round this year.
