The idea that the Dallas Cowboys could field three, 1,000-yard receivers isn’t that far fetched as it has been done five times in the past and the return of wideout Ceedee Lamb to form would go a long way in accomplishing that feat. Doing so should certainly help Dallas’ red-zone issues which kept the team from posting some outlandish numbers last season.
If the team does take the next step offensively, it could be because of the ascension of second-year running back Jaydon Blue who is seeing things more clearly now in his sophomore season. Who his left tackle will be is a question that may already be answered.
In other news, with OTA’s over and the NFL dead period upon us, making a list or ranking has become the fodder football fans need to feed the cravings. The NFL’s top 100 revealed a couple more names and Browns rookie Carson Schwesinger gives hope to teams with questions at linebacker.
If problem areas persists into next offseason, the dates for next year’s NFL Draft in Washington D.C. have been set in what should be a star-studded class. With needs in mind, Detroit may have a serious problem if cornerback Terrion Arnold is guilty of some disturbing accusations which have come to light while the fallout from the Dianna Russini story continue to leak.
