The Boston Celtics have reportedly agreed to sign undrafted former Houston guard Milos Uzan, per recent reporting from Stockrisers founder Jake Weingarten. Presumably destined to occupy one of the Celtics two way player slots for the coming 2026-27 NBA regular season or at least a training camp invite, Uzan has the profile of a potential rotation player if he can shore up some of the weaknesses in his game as a Boston upside project.
The 23-year-old former Cougar stands at 6-foot-4, and weighs in at 183 lbs. according to Sports Reference Dot Com. Uzan spent two seasons with the Oklahoma Sooners before transferring to Houston, and has career averages of 9.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.
And while he has shot 41.9 percent from the field overall, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc, and 74.6 percent from the free throw line, his efficiency away from the charity stripe has been up and down on a season-by-season basis.
If the Las Vegas, Nevada native can show increased efficiency on a consistent basis with Boston, we might just see more of him in the Celtics’ future plans.
