The Denver Nuggets have signed one of the most underrated players in the 2026 NBA Draft class.
Aaron Nkrumah went undrafted, but USA Today ranked him as the No. 1 available undrafted free agent.
And according to that ranking, Nkrumah has now signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Nuggets.
That gives Nkrumah incentive to stay in the G League with the Nuggets’ organization even if he doesn’t make the final NBA roster.
But given the talent, and the impression Nkrumah gave teams during the pre-draft process, maybe he has a chance to make the actual NBA roster.
Nkrumah was the 2025-26 Player of the Year in the Ohio Valley Conference while playing for Tennessee State.
He’s 6-foot-6 and averaged 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and a whopping 2.8 steals per game.
He also shot a solid 35.1% from 3-point range.

Nkrumah didn’t quite earn himself a draft selection with his performance leading up to the draft, but he earned himself a quick contract with Denver.
The Nuggets are obviously led by a middle-of-the-second-round pick in Nikola Jokic. They don’t mind giving a chance to players with talent, even from unlikely places.
Nkrumah is the guy who will get the next chance at being a surprise standout for Denver, and maybe his well-rounded skillset will give him a chance to do just that.
