Police in the Free State say the province is fully prepared for the possible nationwide anti-illegal immigration planned for the 30th of June.
This follows the directive from the President and the acting Police Minister, imploring police commissioners nationally to ensure the maintenance of law and order, stability and public safety on the day.
Mbambo added that they have intensified their operations to combat crime and illegal immigration.
The police say crime intelligence has identified potential hotspots across the province and deployments have already been affected in accordance with the threat analysis conducted.
Resources have been strategically positioned to ensure a rapid and effective response to any situation that may arise.
