Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi will re-apply for bail on new facts at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Mogotsi faces charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, perjury, and defeating the ends of justice .
His previous bail application was denied earlier this month after the state raised issues about the verification of his address.
The matter relates to allegations that he staged an assassination attempt involving the shooting of his own vehicle in Vosloorus, East Rand.
Mogotsi’ legal team is expected to argue for his release based on new facts when the matter resumes.
