The Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Social Development in the North West, Sussana Dantjie, has condemned the killing of the 35-year-old woman in Tlhabane, Rustenburg.
She was reportedly killed by her 41-year-old boyfriend.

The victim was allegedly killed during a heated argument.
Dantjie has sent condolences to the family.
She has also dispatched social workers to provide psychosocial support in the form of trauma counselling to a bereaved family.
According to the police, the suspect tried to flee the scene after the incident, but was apprehended by the members of the community, who also assaulted him.
He was taken to hospital and was later discharged.
The suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear in the Bafokeng Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
