The fourth Annual Youth Leadership Summit will take place in Johannesburg on Saturday, bringing together 200 delegates from 13 African countries.
The summit is an initiative of the Lincoln Mali Leadership Foundation, which aims to develop a new generation of leaders and achievers across the continent.
The gathering will provide a platform for young people to engage on leadership, innovation and the future of Africa, while connecting with established leaders from various sectors.
Founder of the Lincoln Mali Leadership Foundation, Lincoln Mali, says the summit is focused on empowering young people to shape the future of South Africa and the continent.
Mali says, “What is this generation, uh, going to do about reclaiming its future? How are they going to reimagine this country and this continent in the way they see the world? Our job as leaders is to give them the tools, uh, give them the platform, and engage with them about their thoughts and their ideas. But ultimately, it’s the young people who have got to determine where South Africa goes and where Africa goes in the next 50 years…”
