The Texas Tech softball team added another outfielder to its transfer portal class.
Michigan State transfer Zoie Bernard announced her commitment to the Red Raiders on Thursday through Instagram. She has three years of eligibility left.
A native of Cordova, Tennessee, Bernard led Michigan State in batting average (.307), slugging percentage (.485), hits (50), doubles (13), triples (5), stolen bases (8) and walks (31) while starting all 51 games mostly in left field for the Spartans. Bernard also batted leadoff in each game.
Texas Tech also announced the signing of Purdue transfer Moriah Polar, who led the country in batting average.
