Eight people have been killed in a collision between a minibus taxi and a truck on the N4 toll road between Ngodwana and Waterval Onder in Mpumalanga. The road is currently closed.
Spokesperson for the provincial Community, Safety, Security and Liaison Department Moeti Mmusi says emergency services personnel are at the scene of the crash.
“The cause of the crash remains unclear at this stage. The traffic law enforcement and emergency personnel are currently at the scene. So, the scene is still active. One person sustained critical injuries and several others were injured. More details will be communicated to you in due course.”
