KwaZulu-Natal Hawks head Major-General Lesetja Senona will no longer appear before the Madlanga Commission on Friday.
His legal representative has fallen ill and will therefore be unable to attend the proceedings.
Senona is now expected to return to the Commission on a date that will be announced at a later stage.
Meanwhile, Hawks Durban Unit Commander, Colonel Gavin Jacob, has concluded his testimony before the Commission about the 541 kilograms of cocaine, which were stolen from the Hawks’ offices in Port Shepstone in June 2021.
A new witness is expected to take the stand on Friday.
