Stefon Diggs remains a free agent, and one Bills star hopes the star receiver makes his way back to Buffalo.
Safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson, who signed with the Bills during the offseason, raised eyebros this week with an X post suggesting Diggs should join his former team. However, Gardner-Johnson later deleted the post for reasons unknown.
“I mean why not,” Gardner-Johnson wrote in the caption, along with a “shrugs” emoji.

The Patriots released Diggs in March after he authored an impressive comeback season in New England. The star wideout, who tore is ACL the season before, posted 85 catches for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns while playing in all 17 games.
Some have called for the Patriots to re-sign Diggs to pair him with the recently acquired A.J. Brown, but there hasn’t been any credible reporting indicating a reunion could be in the works.
