Long-serving Altrincham centre-back Jake Cooper has signed a new deal to keep him at the National League club for the 2026-27 season.
The 25-year-old will commence his sixth season with the club, having first moved to Moss Lane on loan from Rotherham United in 2022.
He has gone on to play 128 times for the club and scored twice in 31 games this past season.
“Jake’s a player who’s done really well for us from the minute we walked through the door at Alty and I’m delighted he’ll be part of the squad again for the new season,” Altrincham manager Neil Gibson told the club website.
“He’s someone who is growing as a leader within the group and I’m really looking forward to continuing to work with him.”
