A group of foreign nationals are taking the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality in Estcourt, in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, to court for allegedly forcing them to close their businesses.
The group is expected to file an urgent application against the municipality and its mayor in the High Court in Pietermaritzburg on Wednesday.
Organisations, including lobby group March and March, as well as local business owners, are expected to show solidarity with the municipality and the mayor during the court proceedings.
